Katie is the Estate Planning Paralegal for Ambler Keenan Mitchell Johnson. She joined the firm in August 2013. Katie handles most deed work, drafting summaries, and billing. She also assists with bookkeeping.
Prior to joining the firm, Katie spent a year volunteering with Colorado Legal Services and Metro Volunteer Lawyers as an office assistant and paralegal intern. Currently, she completed her paralegal certificate at Arapahoe Community College in December of 2013. Her previous educational background includes a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University.
Her background in family and individual development is well-suited for work in Estate Planning and Administration. As an international adoptee, supporting the legal aspects of adoption is close to Katie’s heart. In her free time, Katie enjoys going for scenic walks and creative writing, and has a second full-time job looking after her husband, stepson, and their newest edition to the family, Matthew, who was born in 2016. She is eternally grateful for coffee.
